elaina, i love what you wrote. how true. your comment reminded me of time spent with my nephew when he was just a little squirt -- just hanging out in my yard and throwing a ball around.

I enjoyed another beautiful day with windows open and sun stroking my face. We're having an unusually mild spell this month, and I am drinking in every moment. About to take a walk with my wonderful husband and the rather senile, arthritic, English setter. More fun!
I played "soccer" with a 2 year old. I always learn something new about the world when I see it through the enthusiasm and excitement of a child.
