sometimes everything you believe is shaken.
sometimes what you thought you believe becomes blurred.
i believed in forgiveness--
in no record of wrong.
but records line these halls
in file cabinets so high,
i can't see past.
i'm leaving this crumbling structure.

ReplyDeleteI was reminded of this quote as I read your post: Forgiveness doesn't make the other person right, it makes you free. -- Stormie Omartian -- even if the other person doesn't forgive, we can ... to be truly free
ReplyDeleteI wish I knew what was going on, due to the fact that my mind goes to the worst places ever when I read stuff like this.....

ReplyDeleteI hope that everything is ok with you! What a perfect photo to go with those words. You've got such a way with that!
ReplyDeletegeorgia, this is perfect. perfectly sad. perfectly true. and perfectly perfect for this day and this night and all the rest to come. I've been thinking about forgiveness a lot lately. And how blurry everything feels now. This photograph captures so much for me. Thank-you for sharing.
