{with my new favorite song stuck in my head }

...to see

if there might be a certain something

that i should freeze in time,

then melt

and pour into a cavity

that is made vulnerable by an obedient shutter,

then freeze it again.

i'm sure there will be something.

a year ago, it was this path,

striped with long, lean shadows of one of my greatest fascinations.

i'm pretty sure it is still there.
