i've got some series planned for my florida pics. while i'm working on them, i thought i would post some shots from my trip to the arboretum today. it was a chilly, but gorgeous day. it was also the perfect time to go—everything was still in bloom and very green. i even got to spend some time with the bees and the birds. {notice i did not say the birds and the bees.}
being that it was an arboretum, i thought there were just going to be a bunch of trees everywhere, including the flowering trees. but there were also many beautiful flowers planted here and there—so i guess you can say there were flowering trees and flowering flowers.
even though i am not really sure what i am doing, i thought i would play in photoshop a little bit to try to achieve that dreamy vintage photo look that i see a lot from other photographers. eh—i'm just playing. i thought they turned out good enough.
i hope everyone had a great weekend and mother's day!
