i have so very many photos from florida, and i am really anxious to start posting them. it's just taking a lot more time to organize them than i thought it would.
so for now, i will have to post some spring shots of blooming trees. this gorgeous tree is in front of my brother-in-law and sister-in-law's condo in chicago. it wasn't blooming when we left for florida. but it was blossoming perfectly for us all when we got back from the airport. it was a pleasant surprise and a great photo opp. for me while we waited for the next train to arrive.
hopefully i can finally start posting some of my florida series starting tomorrow. thanks to those of you who have expressed a real interest in seeing them! i won't disappoint you—i promise. these will have to do for now.

Oh sweet G, we know your photos would not disappoint. I mean look at this one. Goregous as always. On your other post you talked about wanting yours to be calm. Your photos do show that, not to much, simple in the most graceful of ways is the way I view your photos. =) Glad to hear that you had a good vacay.
you are a talented photographer, my dear:) love it.
gorgeous photo. i really like the color and the focus in this shot. can't wait to see your florida shots but i know it takes a lot of time to organize a trip like that.
Sometimes I need a vacation from my vacation just to re-organize my life upon returning home. No pressure but I'm fairly certain these much anticipated photographs will not disappoint. Beautiful tree to find upon returning!
florida never disappoints....I will wait patiently.
love the tree - so gorgeous against that brick and I love the DOF
take your time...we're patient !!!
I LOVE the white/red blossoms against the red building! How totally pretty and lovely.
wow they're even color-coded!
Oh! Omgosh. These are stunning!
Welcome back, G! I LOVE the color composition in these images. The soft pink and sharp red of the redbud tree branches against the vintage red brick building. Fantastic!
cherry blossoms are my favorite flowers! i even got a tattoo of them up my side. i love the way you framed the window in the first shot. the color of the blossoms against the brick is very lovely.
