  10. in music, a self-contained section of an extended composition. {this definition is my favorite}

thanks, alicia. i used to do these kind of posts a lot, but have not done one in a while. in fact, the original title of this post was "i have not done one of these posts in a while" or something like that. but then i just changed it to "untitled".
