{i had not planned on making this a series when i did my first "what i did today" post below. but then i liked the responses so much, i thought i would make it a series. first i thought i would show things i do in times of solitude. but i don't think i will limit it to that, especially since the responses i got were things my readers were doing that interacted with other people {{or pets}}. so this has turned into a series of letting you see into my daily life a little, and hopefully your replies of the same. i so enjoyed the responses i've gotten so far. i hope you will share too. so let's here it. what did you do today?}

I celebrated my littlest friend's first birthday with her and her parents and my kids {son, daughter-in-law, and grandson} ... time well spent.
A true play date...at the playground with my husband! Joy!
Great idea Georgia! Interested to see what you come up with.
I don't have a picture to prove it but I had a date night with my son...come read about it at http://courtneysablogger.blogspot.com/2009/11/bone-loss-and-twinkies.html
what I did today will be on my blog tomorrow.....
I love that little "i." I almost finished Dan Brown's latest book, "The Lost Symbol," which doesn't hold a candle to the "Da Vinci Code" or "Angels and Demons," but after buying it, I was determined to read it. It's not really very good. One more half hour read and it will finally be finished so I can move on to something decent.
Tony and I stayed in tonight. He made linguini, we drank wine, now we're drinking sherry. Later, we will have hot chocolate and watch an old Leonard Cohen dvd from "The Isle of Wight.
Did a few chores but mostly relaxed around the house, my fave place to be, along with all my kitties.
Rockin' picture. I love the simple concept, which is why I love using my iPhone for pictures. I can't take my bulky camera everywhere - so the phone is perfect.
What did I do? I had to work (bummer).
It was a lazy day for me, I've buried myself in a great book. Finished it and start a new one: The Book of Tomorrow by Cecelia Ahern. Luv her.
I taught my siblings to make yummy omelets and to broaden their taste buds with new yummy things in them. Then we helped them with homework and will be going to a friends house for dinner. A perfect, lazy yet productive Sunday so far. I love this idea. I am glad you are doing it.
oh, you guys all lead such interesting lives! makes me feel like i'm not doing much with my time. :)
maybe i have too much solitude!
thanks for sharing what you did. i enjoy reading these!

A fabulous idea for another series. Loving the warm wool socks on the pier shot. I spent the entire day with my husband sans the boy today. We walked the dog, made home-made soup together, napped, read in bed, and watched a film. It was the most luxurious of days after a very long trip. :)
Spent time with my lovely family!
i drove around town in my daughters Jeep (that used to be mine) with the windows down. it felt like old times. I loved driving that car. I cleaned it and filled up the tank for her.
