... it's gonna be a very long time before my bathroom looks like it used to...
and i'm okay with that.
there are about fourteen other people thinkin' today...
the list keeps growin... but you should check them out, too!
{and it's not too late to join in yourself.
let me know in the comments that you want to participate.
i'll add you to that ever-growing list.}
Hee hee...what makes this one so great is that you added the "before" photo of your bathroom. Very nice, but so much cuter with the bath toys! ;) Max is almost five and still plays with his.
ReplyDeleteSo, so cute and you are so, so right! Our bathroom does not look like adults use it. ha! Love the diptych. :)
ReplyDeleteHa! No kidding. Kids leave a mark on a house, for sure.
ReplyDeleteI think it will be this way until they leave the nest. :) Baby stuff multiplies and takes over the house! I clicked over to your other post--love your green bathroom. I can see how you might miss the peace and serenity.
ReplyDeletei absolutely love those photos and your words - so very true. this just touched my heart this morning. thanks for sharing. :)
ReplyDeleteyupyup. houses are truly transformed by little people's presence ... ;-)
ReplyDeleteSo sweet.
ReplyDeleteHarrison's bath toys aren't going anywhere soon. Although, we threw away some of the frogs (similar to yours - but different) after having them for about 4 1/2 years because water gets inside and they get moldy and gross. He was fine with that because he still has his duck collection.
oh, my goodness, rose! i love the name harrison! it was one that we considered for our boy... because my husband loves george harrison. but isaac won out in the end. if we ever have a second, though... harrison is at the very top of the list!
ReplyDeleteAh yes.....they take over the whole house. Just wait until he gets a little bigger and has a bunch of cars and trucks and trains!! :-)
ReplyDeleteGeorgia B! After reading your comment on my blog I thought "Where does she live? We have to be best friends ... and if not that, perhaps I could at least stalk her." But I see you're not even CLOSE to California. :( Anyway ~ So glad we met through this "I'm thinkin'" exercise! Obviously I'm not a photographer, but I certainly appreciate photography. Can't wait to see the rest of your posts! (And "AMEN!" to the bathroom observation! No one can take a bath at our house without first removing 65 Barbies. Seriously?)
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable and you are right :-)
ReplyDeletetami, i disagree... you ARE a photographer!
ReplyDeleteSo true! And that's just the bathroom.... I try to keep my house clean and uncluttered, but I think it's a losing battle... until one day many years from now.
ReplyDeleteAww, I love these! And that faucet cover thing is so cool! I've never seen one before! I'm going to be a little embarrassed if I'm the only one that hasn't. lol. Great shots!
ReplyDeletehaha, shawntae... don't worry. i had not see one ever before either... not until i was registering for my baby. didn't even know they existed. but man, do they come in handy. i can't tell you how many times my son has lunged toward that thing! lots of close calls.
ReplyDeleteHee, hee my favorite are the naked barbies in the most uncompromising positions...they make me laugh everytime I see them. Your rubber duckies are def g-rated, while mine cross the line to pg-13...
