this is quite the compliment coming from you, dear.
i had a blast shooting them. i went out driving in hopes to find a magnolia tree. i thought i was going to have sneak onto someones lawn to get some. but i got lucky. within two minutes of driving, i found a church with a tree. trespassing on a church lawn late Wednesday afternoon is not nearly as risky as sneaking onto some family's lawn. :)
Magnolia trees!!! :) I have been seeing a few around the city, in courtyards, around back alleys, hiding behind the evanston library... i took a picture on my phone of an apartment garden entrance that is LINED with them.

Those are so pretty! I wish we had those types of trees here, but alas...its too cold. Very nice photos :)
what? the clouds, the church or the flowers?
mama, the title of the post is magnolias. there's your answer.

I LOVE magnolias! And yours are beautiful!!
this makes me smile. i too was out and about yesterday. i found a cherry blossom tree and our shots and angles are so similar.
i love what you see and how you capture it.
Superb light, outstanding shots !
I never knew I loved magnolias so much, but apparently I do! These are so stunning, I can almost smell their perfume!
