quite possibly my favorite of all of God's creations.

this is quite the compliment coming from you, dear.

i had a blast shooting them. i went out driving in hopes to find a magnolia tree. i thought i was going to have sneak onto someones lawn to get some. but i got lucky. within two minutes of driving, i found a church with a tree. trespassing on a church lawn late Wednesday afternoon is not nearly as risky as sneaking onto some family's lawn. :)

Those are so pretty! I wish we had those types of trees here, but alas...its too cold. Very nice photos :)

this makes me smile. i too was out and about yesterday. i found a cherry blossom tree and our shots and angles are so similar.

i love what you see and how you capture it.

I never knew I loved magnolias so much, but apparently I do! These are so stunning, I can almost smell their perfume!

Magnolia trees!!! :)
I have been seeing a few around the city, in courtyards, around back alleys, hiding behind the evanston library...
i took a picture on my phone of an apartment garden entrance that is LINED with them.

i think of you every time i see one :)
