OH, I love the yellow! Mine are just barely sprouting; no where near blossoming yet. Hope you enjoyed some sunshine this weekend. :)

Is it really Monday? At the end of today, I want to start all over again with Saturday. The hibiscus are gorgeous - I especially like that first one.

As one guy just told me today when I wished he and another passerby, "You're not supposed to be happy on Memorial Day."

I wanted to tell him, "You might not be, but I am happy that many have fought to make my country safer. I am happy that I am alive today." And he should be too! He made me feel bad when he said it. But now, to him, I say, "Bah Humbug!"

Beautiful images.

good point, angela. i guess i did not think about using the word happy for today. but i agree with you. we should all be happy {in the grateful sense of the word} that others fought for our freedom. we should be happy that we live in a country where we are free. i think of happy as a synonym for joy. i have joy that i am free today.

thanks, a.
