guest room

this is where i stay when i visit my twin sister.
who would want to leave?
not me.

but i always do—
knowing it's always waiting for me.
it's like staying at a wonderful bed and breakfast.

{see and read more about it here.}

where do you go to get away?

I see why you like vintage! Love this series of shots and I can also see why you like staying here when you visit your sister.

What a fantastic space! I lived in an old midtown apartment many years ago and LOVED it. Even though it had no a/c. If I had my druthers, I'd have an old apartment in the city now (in addition to my current suburban home). My getaway!

Oh that first image just made me let out a deep sigh. How peaceful. The light is beautiful, as is the greenery outside the window.

i think that font is meant to be used with less or no tracking. the letters are supposed to touch. just a tip.

beautiful shots - isn't it wonderful to sleep in a space that is "yours" away from home? they still call my mom's room at my brother's house "mimi's room".

Hmmm, nice. My cousin in Chicago has a peaceful and vintage room where I stay once a year. And my mom has a nice guest room, too, when I go there, although not rally vintage but with a nice view out the back window.

So nice, you're lucky you have a place to get away to. I have the woods and the river. I'll bet the bed is softer where you go.

Again great pictures, great post.

It looks so peaceful and happy :)

Where do I go? Usually outside somewhere, or on a little trip with my friends and/or family. But I really think just being home is the greatest place to be for me. I'm so happy here and it's so peaceful like your sister's guest room.

the details on the chest of drawers is beautiful.

where do i go?

a cottage in the country, with a fireplace, where the birds sing to me in the rising sun and where calvin brushes the hair out of my eyes as he kisses me awake.
