- i got asked to come back for at least a couple of days to do some freelance work at the company that i freelanced for in april for a week and a half. i go in tomorrow and friday. this is a very good thing. we could really use the money. {we ran out of toilet paper yesterday—*yikes*} b. was also asked to work tomorrow for the company that just had to lay him off. needless to say, neither of us hesitated to take the work!
- i was invited to show some of my photography work at a local coffee shop! i'll write more about that tomorrow.
- one of my best friends in the entire world sent off a package for me in the mail today. and it is to contain something that was grown right in his yard—something i can cook with. and i can't wait to get it!
{i'm still waiting to hear from the place where i interviewed last week. my fingers are starting to cramp from keeping them crossed for so long. but i'm holding out hope for a phone call soon. and i'm hoping you are well, too. i'll see you after work tomorrow!}
{{oh, and i'm sorry for the small type on the photo again. if you can't read it, you can click on the photo to see it larger. or you can read this: "hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul and sings the words without the tune and never stops at all."}}

That's great to hear about you and your hubby getting some work! My prayers are still going strong for a stable job for both of you, and something that you both are passionate about.
Blessings,
Chris

Your blog is great! Love the title photo and today's post. I love birds, making the Emily Dickinson quote extra special in its meaning~
