thai food, anyone?

perfect light,

camera-shy b.,

delicious hot soup,

pad thai,

and me.

oh, and don't forget the tea.
{there were fortune cookies, too,
but my batteries were dying
by the time those came.}

{b. stepped away while the soup came, and the light from outside made for the perfect table shot. that just got me going. {wink } needless to say, i kept taking more. while i make it a rule to only post pictures that i take, i could not resist adding the three that b. took {{of me }} to this post. i'll turn him into a photographer yet! {{i think he secretly enjoyed it.}}

this is not the best thai food i've ever had, but it's pretty good. i'm pretty sure eating thai for lunch is one of my favorite things in the world. i used to go every thursday with my best friend/coworker, and although we no longer work together, we still meet for thai from time to time. in fact, i'm pretty sure i like to go out for thai with anyone in my life that i consider special. it's just one of those things.

are you a fan of thai food, too?}

HUGE fan of Thai food! It was my hubby and my favorite date night food for the longest time and I also had a coworker/friend that I'd eat it with very often too. Glad you had a nice lunch. It's good to see you looking so happy :)

Had Chinese last night and found the fortune cookies sadly unfortunate. They were totally empty.

oh, meri, how awful! that's never happened to me. i don't put stock into what those say, but that sure must have felt weird... or empty.

i hope you get two good fortune messages in your next cookie.
