had i not done the shoot for my sweet friend, kim,

i would not have had the opportunity to be hired by her neighbors...

the adorable family seen here.

it was such a pleasure to follow them around through one of my favorite nature preserves

to capture the way they interact with each other in the great outdoors.

you could sense so much love and enjoyment between these three,

it really warmed my heart, because they reminded me so much

of what my little family will be like in about eight years.

like mr. b and myself, the parents of this young boy had him a bit later than most.

and i found such a unique dynamic between them because of it... a truly special bond.

i found it, because i recognize it... i sensed familiarity.

i could not have enjoyed taking their photos any more than i did.

they've asked me to take more at some point,

and i can honestly say i can't wait for that time to come.

just loved this shoot!
