big sigh

don't worry.
it's a good sigh.
a sigh of relief.
a sigh of feeling like
my interview went well
and it's behind me
and now i just wait
and i did my best
and that's all
i can ask of myself
and i look forward
to hearing back
whether or not
they want me to come in
for more interviews.

in my eyes,
things went well today.
all i can do is wait
to see if they felt the same
and would like to know more.
so tonight i shall write
some thank you letters
and send them off tomorrow.

thanks to everyone
who left comments
to wish me luck
or sent me an e-mail
to wish me the same.
you all made me smile.
perhaps this week
i'll be back to more
regular blogging.

{i have no idea what i was attempting to shoot in this photo, but whatever it was, it didn't turn out and i kind of like how it didn't turn out. of course i love a blurry image—always have. but i assure you this was not intentional. but what it is to me is cool. it almost looks like an abstract painting or the start of a watercolor painting. and the unidentified blurry subject sort of represents not knowing—not knowing if i'll be called back. not knowing what the future holds. not knowing what each new day will bring. but there is still beauty in that. beauty in trusting. beauty in hoping. beauty in living and getting up each day and knowing i did my best. i don't know. i just like this photo. so up it goes.}

I think the blurry image perfectly represents the relief felt after stressful anticipation...that blurry feeling feels mighty fine sometimes! I wish the best, no matter what the outcome...one door will open another, one way or another.

Yeah, sometimes it's nice not to know exactly what you're looking at. You can just sort of enjoy it for what it is! Pretty!

I agree with Carolyn... The photo seems perfect for the situation... a bright sigh. Sending encouraging thoughts to the people who interviewed you!

What a great perspective! One of the things I got insanely excited about when I first got my camera was being able to control the focus -- let things be blurry and then watch as the image changed depending on what details snapped into the forefront. Of course in life, the trick is to NOT try to control the "focus" but wait and see what unfolds. Wish you the best:)

Whether it was intentional or not, it still looks beautiful and "peaceful" I guess you could say. Blurred photos. <3

Hope your interview went very well and that you get the job. :]

Blurry brillance: I love that. & I never mentioned this before but I love the little photograph of you to the right holding your tiny silver camera with the prettiest white bell cloche hat. I need more friends that wear hats, I think. I once said that about people that drive jeeps with their dogs in the front seat, as well. ;)
With that, love that you always keep your chin up. For that alone, good things will come your way, kiddo. It's a fact. :)

Waiting is hard but, since you feel that it went well, I'm sure it did. A lot of people don't interview well (me) so it's a good skill to have.

I could totally relate about the interview and you did your best.
Today, I had an interview too. And I guess it goes well and they texted me for a final interview tomorrow. Thank God! It's been awhile that I went through job hunting. Too many interviews and exams. Some just to collect all the resume's in the world even though there's nothing to fill in their offices. Competition is tough in the field making it more harder but quite challenging. But i learned lessons along the way.
I wish you good luck and God bless.
