it was just a dream

it was just a dream

only a few minutes remain in this last full day of winter. i could not be more happy that spring is at our doorstep. every year, i grow more and more yearnful for spring. i really am grateful for the changes of seasons. i've learned in my life to appreciate the cold and empty days as much as the warm and fulfilling ones. without them, the brighter days might not seem quite as bright. without them, i would not appreciate the goodness of spring, summer and fall and all its provisions.

i have to say, this past winter went fast. i'm thankful for that.

~ ~ ~

just wanted to say... goodbye, winter. i'll not miss you. but then, you probably won't miss me, either. let's just remain cordial acquaintances and leave it at that. see you in about nine months.

p.s.
please be gone when i wake up. if you have to come back for your things, that's okay. but the new tenant is arriving soon. please be courteous and let her have her space.

love this post, and the photo...I was feeling a little blurry yesterday myself and did a similar type of shot in my post. itching to get outside and enjoy the spring that has finally sprung!

Hahaaaa... cute way to put it. Yep, I was none too happy to give old man winter the boot! Get outta heah!!! When we're all melting this summer, THEN we can fondly (almost) recal this past winter.
