my morning message

good morning from brac

today's shutter sisters post reminded me of why i put mr. b's notes up right next to my computer after he leaves them for me, and thus prompted me to get a shot this morning of the one that is currently displayed. they are really nice to see first thing every morning when i wake up and wander over to the computer to check my e-mails, or read the s.s. post of the day, or what have you.

he left this one for me just a few days after we brought isaac home from the hospital. "school" is our slang term for work. we don't really think "school" is for fools, though. we are grateful to have a "school" for one of us to go to these days. it was not always that way.

it's just his way of saying, "i'd rather stay here and hang out with you two." {he has to leave every morning with the sight of isaac snuggled up next to me as we sleep after i've nursed him, and it's very difficult for him to leave instead of joining us.} i must have written him a note first... one that probably said "we miss you", because he wrote "i miss you already too."

anyway, the s.s. post reminded me a little of a similar post of mine from last winter for "picture winter"... a pre-baby-isaac note from the hub {still in baby-b days}.

i'm so grateful for mr. b's notes. there are many disappointments in life... people or things that leave or change or give up or shut you down or out. so i'm finding it's the people and things that stick through the thickest and thinnest that you have to cling to. mr. b is one of those people, and his notes are one of those things.

What a sweet and creative note so early in the morning... my Hubs would just say, "gone to Home Depot to pick up some tools". A man of few words. :-)

i love notes... my parents used to do that growing up (still do).. and i've kept that tradition w/ my boyfriend at the house... sometimes, we find it in the car.. and w/ him trying to write little words in my native tongue. and i really, really like your last paragraph <3 yep! <3

How super sweet! If my hubby left me a note like that I would probably pass out from the shock of the surprise. :)

What a sweet and funny note! I like the part about being careful on stairs, etc., probably because I am a super clutz! :)
