i've decided to stop blogging

i don't know for how long... indefinitely, i guess.

priorities

there is something in my life that needs more attention than my blogs / photography / writing / design / inspiration... in fact, more than any online presence {even facebook... although i was rarely on it}. and i find that i can not divide that attention right now, because that something is more important than this blog.

and it's time to "go to work".

don't get me wrong. i will greatly miss the blog... being expressive here. but i had a life before my blog, and i want to get back to where and how i devoted my time and attention before this blog... in fact, not just get back to it, but improve upon it.

it's not mr. b and isaac that i speak of... but you can be sure that the time i gain from not blogging will also benefit them. {not to paint a picture of neglect... it's just that i will use the indefinite break to also focus on being a better mom and wife.}

that's why i like this quote. there is something i want. and my continuing to blog here would show what i am not willing to exchange for what i want. but i am willing... because that something is what i really want.

i am, therefore, establishing my priorities. i really hope the other parties involved will do this too, as it will be what leads back to the path of my return to blogging. there is an even more highly-essential end result, though. it is my hope that my part in ceasing to blog will play a big part in that result.

i may try to continue to visit other blogs {especially those of friends i have made}, but reading other blogs may have to subside as well. to be honest, since isaac has arrived on the scene, i rarely had time to visit other blogs in addition to posting on mine. so i guess there won't be much of a change there.

i will miss the interaction and inspiration i gain from blogging. but this is what i need to do.

don't be concerned. this is a good thing. wishing you all the best while i "disappear" for a while.

missing you all already,
~georgia

Georgia! This is sad, of course, but I'm excited for you -- it sounds like you're on to something good. I can't wait to see the fruits of whatever it is you'll be doing with your "blogging time" (which, yes, takes up lots of time). In the meantime, I'm hoping I'll get to see you in real-life again, one of these days... :)
